Eligibility Requirements
Qualifying for the Weatherization Assistance Program is based on household income. Households must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty income guidelines.
Homeowners and renters may be eligible and can include single family, multi-family and mobile homes.
*Please note that while renters are welcome to apply the homeowner will be required to provide certain documentation and signatures granting permission to participate in the program and to work on the home.

Application Required Documentation
  • Deed to house or Certificate of Title for mobile home
  • Current utility bill for primary and secondary heating sources
  • Twelve months of energy bill usage on primary and secondary heating sources
  • Social Security Cards on everyone in the household
  • ID of applicant
  • Proof of income for previous month for everyone in the household/No Income Form
All approved applications are placed on a waiting list. Priority is placed on homes with senior citizens, families with disabilities, children under the age of 18, and households with high energy usage and energy burdens.
